Teenagers are in the age of emerging technology, where every day there is something new to navigate, expectations at school, at home, with friendships and other activities.
They don’t have the opportunity to escape from technology and all its trappings, it is very much an integral part of their lives.
And as parents we have to accept this, we cannot remove something from them which connects them with others, their school, their friends and the outside world.
Unfortunately the result can often be increased stress and anxiety as our modern day teenagers struggle to detach from this constant connection. They have little down time and are in a constant battle with the never ending communication, whether it be through gaming, social media or phones.
I support teenagers who are having ongoing issues with friendship challenges, stress from school work and exam pressure, along with those which have a complete lack of motivation or are experiencing low confidence and self esteem.
Working online via Zoom or Face to Face from my Marlow practice, I can help teenagers to have a safe space to share whatever they are experiencing, help them understand why they feel the way they do, and introduce the techniques and strategies to navigate these turbulent years.
Imagine your teenager feeling calmer and more in control of their feelings and emotions, empowered by understanding what is going on for them right now and having the tools and techniques to manage those feelings and emotions before they become overwhelmed by them.
It all starts by you getting in touch and letting me know that you or your teenager needs my help.
We have a free, 30 minute chat where I can explain more about the process and you can ask any questions. Then, when you or your teen are ready, we can get started together.
Or if you have any queries, then why not get in touch and I will be happy to answer them for you:
